Regular collaborators included percussionist Sheila E. His entire catalogue was about how to get laid. But Prince could also hold more conservative views.
We know that did not happen, but they definitely were in some sort of relationship. It does seem strange that after all these years she is not married or at least with someone. I mean, Apollonia was married, Carmen Elektra is married, the artist formally known as Vanity is married, Jill Jones is married, even Prince is married.
